  Brighton's best bike shop for a service and for buying cycling equipment! Even though they were busy - i believe the manager - fitted my bike rack, bought elsewhere, on the spot. Much appreciated!

  I have been to several bike shops in Brighton and these folks are by far the best. I have an older bike from the early 80's which I am very fond of and when I wanted to customise it to meet my needs, other shops baulked at the proposal and did not complete all the work and replacements that I asked for. When I spoke to Baker Street they were extremely knowledgeable and listened to my needs, providing me with helpful parts recommendations. Also in order to save some money they sourced some secondhand breaks for me. They installed all the parts for me, gave my bike a thorough clean, including the gears and chain and have been very good about tweaking things without extra charge when needed. These folks are the real deal and as a female commuter who travels 8 miles a day, doing a lot of my own maintenance I feel that they listen to me when I notice changes requiring more attention. Many shops decide what is wrong without listening, these folks respect rider experience!
