  I was shocked at the state of the kennels. It was like going back in time. The roof above the kennels was leaking, the blankets for the dogs were soaked. The large dogs hardly had room to move and the dogs were in such close proximity that they just barked all the time. It reminded me of what Battersea kennels was like in the seventies. Surely some improvement could be made to the kennels in 2018. The difference between this and Dogs Trust is glaring. My family came away deeply upset. There's no excuse for this.
